Today’s context

Asian equities tracked Wall Street gains after the Fed cut rates and Chair Jerome Powell voiced optimism that the US economy will strengthen as tariff-driven inflation fades. MSCI Asia Pacific rose 0.5%; the S&P 500 added 0.7%, just short of all-time highs, with the Russell 2000 at a record. Bonds rallied; Nasdaq 100 futures fell 0.5% after disappointing Oracle results.
